Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC)
Cirtex supply Polyalumium Chloride in both 200l Drums and 1,000 litre IBCs to all regions of New Zealand. The product meets all the requirement as per the Water New Zealand Standards.
Before introducing flocculants or coagulants it is essential that this is in conjunction with a Chemical Treatment Management Plan which will be applicable to your local authority. Treatment requirements and conditions will vary from site to site and it is important that any treatment regime applied is specific to a particular project and site.

How do I know how to apply the product?
Prior to the application of any coagulant of flocculant it is important that bench testing and a chemical treatment management plan has been prepared by a suitable professional.
Are there other products I can use?
There are other coagulants and flocculants that Cirtex can supply, however PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride) is typically the most effective across a broad spectrum of soil and clay types.
How should the Chemical be handled?
Full details for handling are provided with a Chemical Treatment Management Plan and a product MSDS.
Is the chemical harmful for aquatic life?
Only in the event of a major spill or similar. PAC with have an effect on pH and this should be carefully monitored as per your CTMP. Polyaluminium Chloride is used in the treatment of our drinking water and is perfectly safe when application guidelines are adhered to.

The Purpose:
