RAM10 Steel Y-Post Safety Driver

The traditional y-post driver has been used for many years to drive in y-posts. Due to an inherent design flaw, the post driver has the tendency to lift off the post in the up down motion used to drive the posts into the ground. This was an issue due to the significant harm caused if the post driver came down with the user’s hand between the driver and the top of the post. The injuries caused in this situation would result in lifelong disabilities.

Cirtex has worked with a number of contractors to make safer rammers, however injuries were still happening and even when wearing gloves we have seen significant harm caused. No amount of worker training can eliminate this potential cause of harm, especially taller workers or those with long reach. Cirtex went back to drawing board and developed a new tool to stop all harm to our workers when ramming Y-Posts – The award winning RAM10.
