Project Information
This innovative RainSmart design in Hamilton was set up to make full use of the RainSmart linear access system.
Stormwater was directed through the RainSmart system to the lower parts of the development, and when it filled the lower pipes the excess water was able to flow back into the RainSmart tanks through perforations in the through pipes.
The advantage of this was that first flush water with the associated sediments was never transferred to the tank. Site conditions required the tank to be lined, and Cirtex supplied a PVC liner which was wrapped on site. The RainSmart system was successfully installed and commissioned with support from the Cirtex site support team.
