Project Information
Waikato District Alliance (WDA) had an ageing surface water culvert from the eastern to western sides of Harrisville Road.
A failure in the soils surrounding the culvert meant WDA had to reinstate the culvert in a very short space of time.
Design
WDA and Cirtex have a longstanding relationship based on mutual trust and experience. We’ve partnered in many projects over the years.
Two representatives from Cirtex went to site to assess the best possible solution for this time-critical project. They identified that the speed of construction of the MagnumStone system made it the best solution for this site.
Installation
The road had already been closed for 7 days, and the consent for the road closure was set to run out within 2 days of Cirtex coming on board. WDA needed a system they knew would perform and they needed it very quickly.
The MagnumStone system is very quick to install, very durable and a very tidy looking product and finish. WDA and the residents of Tuakau were very pleased with the outcome.
